Welcome to the first (but not the last) Vancouver Sexuality Empowerment Conference. This is your chance to explore your own sexuality and enrich your sex life. With you in mind I've packed into one weekend a whole spectrum of workshops, entertainment, shopping, socializing and opportunities for play and for you to gain skills to empower yourself.
An evening of erotically charged performances starts us off on the Friday night as act after erotic act, of burlesque, living bondage sculptures, sizzling readings and a sexy slide show are but a few of the pieces that talented local and visiting performers will do shamelessly for you.
Workshop Presentations will include Radical Ecstasy, by noted author and presenter Dossie Easton, Sex Courtesan Style by the lovely Veronica Monet and presentations on Bondage, The Clitoris, BiSexuality, Temporary Piercings and Sex Positive Culture to name just a few. Most of the workshops are interactive journeys and participation is mandatory so expect to experience new thrills and sensations.
This conference was designed to give you the participant the opportunity to not just sit and be entertained by a presenters skills for a short presentation but rather to allow you the chance to spend in depth time with a presenter on a topic and that the journey be participatory for you. There are 10 workshops being offered over the weekend, of these 8 are 3 hours long, yet another class is a whopping 4 hours and the final class is a 1 hour long crash course.
A Sex Positive Play Party where you can indulge, explore and perhaps satiate your wants is scheduled to open to you on the Saturday evening. From the softer side of sensuality and sex, to role play and the sharp edges of BDSM. Fetishists, Voyeurs, Exhibitionistis & Sexual Explorers be a part of a night not to be missed. An Erotic Slide Show becomes the backdrop for the party, while music washes through the rooms of people playing.
Crossing, a movie produced by local Roger Evan Larry and filmed in Vancouver is having an Exclusive Film Screening at the conference along with the chance to meet the man behind it all. The vendors, will be there with shiny costume dress up clothes, thongs that barely cover, lubricants, toys to insert, toys that vibrate, oils, potions, rattan canes, bondage equipment, BDSM gear and much more for you to ask questions about and purchase.
